The University Staff-athletes participated at the NUSSA Games 2025, held at Bayero University of kano on 21st to 30th of May, 2025. ​The contingent of fifteen including the VC , Registrar and Director of Audit performed well to the glory of God Almighty by winning laurels  for the University . The University came 26th on the overall medal table with a silver medal from chess event.
